Photography is all about controlling
light. All the gear, film, processing, and reproduction equipment used
in photography is for the purpose of manipulating light.
This
is an attempt to capture the light that is not visible to the human
eye, at least not as a perception that lasts a certain amount of time.
Our eyes see only the sequences and fragments of actions that our mind,
afterwards, shapes in a comprehensive picture, helped by its memory
and experience.
Therefore,
I use a long exposure, a camera's wide open eye that is able to freeze
long lasting changes of light. I can never tell what will be the effect,
what kind of image will be painted or drawn by light. All the colors
beared by one photograph are invisible to me, at once
